ESPRONCEDA presents
the dance show
«SER ENTRE DOS»
January 28th 2017 – 8 pm
The book Ser entre dos (Being between two) is based on the story of two people, a man and a woman, who after a relationship experience a long period of absence from each other during which their lives have taken very different paths.
They meet again on the internet and a new relationship begins — one in which everything they experience has nothing to do with what they had once learned love was.
Starting from a selection of poems that represent the narrative thread of the book, we have developed in an elastic and malleable way a piece that illustrates the same story, bearing in mind the philosophy that underlies Ser entre dos. We do not only speak of the story of this particular man and woman, but also of many men and women — many people who defy the limits of the known. They experience and feel as they never have before, because we witness a first time, something new, what they unlearn and what they write on a blank page.
A story that serves as a pretext to explore the different dimensions of the verb to love, and so the piece weaves narrative fragments with emotional and atmospheric projections drawn from the poetry of José Luis Terraza.
Nos[otros]
The dance group Nos[otros] was born from the desire to bring Ser entre dos to body language. We are a group of art lovers, artists and people interested in exploring the multiple possibilities of artistic creation, with theoretical and conceptual curiosity and the desire to enrich one another through the connection of different artistic disciplines: music, dance, contact improvisation, interpretation, expression, visual and fine arts…
