Founded in Barcelona in 2013, ESPRONCEDA – Institute of Art & Culture was created to be more than an art space: it is a living ecosystem where contemporary creation, research, and cultural innovation converge. ESPRONCEDA was born from the belief that art—when connected with technology, society, and education—can transform how we understand the world and how we imagine our collective future.
Over the years, ESPRONCEDA has grown into an international hub that welcomes artists, thinkers, scientists, curators, and creative practitioners from around the globe. Through residencies, exhibitions, research programs, conferences, and community initiatives, we cultivate a multidisciplinary environment where experimentation is encouraged, dialogue is essential, and new ideas can emerge.
