NEW EUROPEAN BAUHAUS

ESPRONCEDA became an official partner of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) in 2021, positioning the organisation among the initiative’s early adopters in Europe.

Launched by the European Commission, the New European Bauhaus is a creative and interdisciplinary initiative that connects the European Green Deal to our living spaces and experiences, bringing together sustainability, inclusion, culture, design, and innovation to help shape more beautiful, sustainable, and inclusive futures.

Through NEB & Inclusió, ESPRONCEDA translates these principles into artistic and cultural practice, exploring how art, digital innovation, and participatory approaches can contribute to more inclusive, sustainable, and connected communities.

Our approach positions art as a driver of social transformation, creating bridges between culture, technology, and society. Digital innovation — including XR, artificial intelligence, and immersive practices — plays a central role, not only as a creative medium but also as a tool to enable new forms of participation, accessibility, and collective experience.

Working with artists, communities, cultural organisations, researchers, and other partners, NEB & Inclusió promotes community-centred and participatory approaches, civic engagement, gender equality, inclusive access to culture, and dialogue across different social and territorial contexts.

The programme combines digital innovation, social inclusion, democratic participation, and territorial engagement, creating opportunities to experiment with new models of cultural participation and explore how creativity and technology can generate positive social impact.
