This policy explains which cookies the website of ESPRONCEDA – Institute of Art & Culture uses, what they are for and how you can manage them.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device when you visit it. The term also covers equivalent technologies such as the browser’s local storage.

Which cookies this website uses

This site is built to install as few cookies as possible. Specifically:

• We use no analytics cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no Google Tag Manager and no other audience measurement tool.
• We use no advertising or profiling cookies, and no social media pixels.
• We install no first-party cookies while you browse the site without logging in.

First-party cookies

First-party cookies are only installed if you log in to the site’s administration area, which is restricted to the ESPRONCEDA team. These are WordPress technical cookies (wordpress_, wordpress_logged_in_, wp-settings-), needed to keep the session open and remember dashboard preferences. As strictly necessary cookies, they are exempt from the consent requirement.

Third-party cookies

YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.). Some activity pages include a video hosted on YouTube. Videos load in privacy-enhanced mode (the youtube-nocookie.com domain), so YouTube does not install tracking cookies until you choose to press play. If you play the video, Google may install cookies related to playback and player preferences, and process data under its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.

Google Fonts. The site’s typefaces are served from Google’s servers. This installs no cookies, but it does mean your IP address is disclosed to Google when the page loads.

The links to our Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube profiles are ordinary links: they load no content from those platforms and install no cookies unless you click them.

Legal basis

Technical and strictly necessary cookies are installed under Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI-CE), which exempts them from consent. Any cookie that is not necessary — such as those YouTube installs when you play a video — relies on your consent, which you give by choosing to play it and can withdraw at any time by clearing cookies in your browser.

You can allow, block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Bear in mind that blocking all cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

• Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data.
• Safari (macOS): Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data.
• Safari (iOS): Settings > Apps > Safari > Block All Cookies.
• Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions.

Most browsers also offer a private browsing mode that discards cookies when you close the window.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the cookies used by the site or the applicable legislation change. Any change will be published on this page.
