We are pleased to announce that espronceda is hosting an Integral Visual Creativity Workshop led by Colombian artist Antonio Caro.
A pioneer of conceptual art in Colombia and a key figure in Latin American conceptualism, Antonio Caro arrives in Barcelona following his acclaimed participation in ARCO Colombia 2015.
A unique opportunity to get up close with the artist, the character, and the person behind one of the most distinctive, celebrated, and influential figures of the conceptualist movements.
The workshop runs for ten days from Monday 13 to Thursday 23 April at the espronceda space, from 18:00 to 20:00.
Coinciding with Sant Jordi, during the final session of the workshop — open to the general public — the artist will present his book El Lobo (Cisneros Fontanals Foundation grant), which documents his two decades of Integral Visual Creativity Workshops (Guggenheim Fellowship), two of which have taken place during his stay in the city.
