Detail of Kehinde Wiley painting
Since the end of the nineteenth century, painting has been a story of a perpetual cycle of deaths and rebirths in the face of photography, conceptual art, installation, digital imaging technologies, the world wide web, or plain lack of interest.
This panel will bring together experts to discuss their vision of Contemporary Painting: is it interesting enough? Is there conceptual and formal research taking place? Who are the key artists today?
