
Espronceda – Center for Art & Culture – on the occasion of the European Year of Cultural Heritage, invites you to the round table:
Create, Think, Transform: the Third Paradise experience in Cuba of the Rebirth project by Michelangelo Pistoletto and Cittadellarte.
A space for dialogue developed and organised by Savina Tarsitano, artist, member of the European Parliament of Culture and Ambassador of the Rebirth Project, and by Laura Salas Redondo, curator and Ambassador of Rebirth Third Paradise to Cuba.
The round table proposes mutual learning among participants, a pretext to collectively identify areas where culture and society call for questioning practices, new challenges and experiences that generate knowledge.
Exhibition of large canvases (7.50 Ă— 3.30 m) from the international Kids-Guernica project, inspired by Pablo Picasso’s work «Guernica», in collaboration with the Third Paradise of Michelangelo Pistoletto. Intercultural cooperation with Japan, Cuba, Italy, Brussels, India, the USA, Cambodia, Bali and other countries around the world.

Dr. Holger Sprengel, co-founder of Espronceda, entrepreneur and head of corporate and private partnerships.
Dr. Elvira Eduardo Vázquez, historian, pedagogue and cultural researcher, artivist of the Embassy of Rebirth / Third Paradise in Cuba, specialist in Complexity Studies and, in particular, in culture–society links; member of the Cuban Productive Dialogue Network.
Gabriela Román González, art critic, Artificant of the Embassy of Rebirth / Third Paradise in Cuba; develops the Essay Zero project, a Cultural Experiment aimed at promoting, managing and developing experimental, innovative and research-based initiatives in the fields of art, science and communication.
Savina Tarsitano, artist, European coordinator of the Kids’-Guernica project and co-founder of Espronceda. She develops the «Emotional Architecture» project — initiatives in art, culture, heritage, education and social change — integrating the Third Paradise model.
Dr. Marta CrispĂ, director of the Master’s Degree in Cultural Management at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya and member of ENCATC (European Network on Cultural Management and Policy).
Dr. Steven Forti, professor of contemporary history at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, political analyst for various international media outlets (RAI, Limes, Micromega, Left, CTXT, Epohi, etc.), author of the radio programme «Zibaldone» on Barcelona Radio Contrabanda, founder of the cultural association «Cus va Amilcare» dedicated to Italian singer-songwriters, and member of the Board of Directors of the Tenco Club of Sanremo.
Maya Barsacq, opera director, founder and conductor of Cadenza, music director for musical theatre in Europe and the United States. She lives and works between Barcelona and San Francisco, and is an expert in multidisciplinary projects spanning art, science, installations and music.
