Paul Pretzer (b. 1981, Paide, Estonia) is a painter working between Berlin and Barcelona. He studied at the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts in Kiel (2002–2005) and the Dresden University of Fine Arts (2005–2007), completing a master’s degree under Prof. Ralf Kerbach. Pretzer’s work combines surreal, allegorical imagery with vivid color and refined compositions. His paintings feature motifs like animals, youthful figures, fruits, and everyday objects—imbued with humor, irony, and a touch of absurdity.
