Parul Modha born in Uganda in 1970. The experience of dislocation, displacement and the act of being forcefully uprooted has left a strong impression. With this comes a knowledge and understanding of a rich breath of cultures, languages and life styles. This has had a significant impact and informs the work I produce. Her ideas of work across the disciplines from 2-D to 3-D and are linked by reoccurring images and through the subject matter.
