Kaoru Shibuta was born in 1980 in the countryside of Kyoto where he grew up. Besides his studies in art he learned Japanese calligraphy and old techniques and Zen meditation. His main interest is the relation between art and music. In the last years he composed 4 musical composition as made Back or Beethoven. Shibuta obtained several artists in residency in Asia and Europe. He is one of the winners of the “Open Call Artist in Residency” of Espronceda.
