Josep Ramon Guillén is an artist specialised in photography. Born in Barcelona in 1956, he has worked as a freelance professional photographer in many fields, such as industrial photography, advertising agencies, fashion and reportage. His most artistic expression takes him to portraits and nudes, where he has been recognised for his excellent work.

His mother gave him a Baby Kodak Brownie 1 (127 format) when he was 6, and at 11 his father bought him a Voigtländer Vito B2 (135 format); since then he has embraced photography as the love of his life through the camera. His frustrated training as a painter led him, as he says, to paint with the camera. He is a warm and friendly person who loves being around people, with a good hand for images that capture energy and enthusiasm.

For a long time his career focused on social photography, showing a special talent for capturing an event or a person with a style of his own, what he would call author photography. That experience has been an excellent training for recomposing styles in the business world, where people skills and the ability to work quickly and under pressure are vital.
