GASTÓN LISAK

Conceptual Artist

Gastón Lisak (b. 1989) is a Barcelona-based conceptual artist and researcher exploring identity, memory, and the notion of the anachronistic object. Through his project Mundane Archaeology, he investigates how everyday elements can shift perception between the familiar and the strange. His works are largely inspired by Material Anthropology and the Italian Arte Povera movement lead by Michelangelo Pistoletto.
