Constellation Lab

Constellation Lab is ESPRONCEDA’s collaborative lab and shared infrastructure for research, experimentation, and innovation at the intersection of culture and advanced technologies.

Based in Catalonia, Constellation Lab connects professionals, researchers, cultural institutions, universities, technology organisations, and other actors from the innovation ecosystem, creating a shared framework for interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange.

The Lab facilitates access to advanced technologies — including XR, artificial intelligence, robotics, and interactive technologies — to support collaborative research, experimentation, and rapid prototyping. By bringing together expertise from the cultural, scientific, academic, and technological sectors, it enables new ideas to be tested, developed, and translated into practical applications.

At its core, Constellation Lab is a shared, non-commercial infrastructure designed to activate cross-sector partnerships, facilitate knowledge transfer, and make technological experimentation more accessible to the cultural and creative ecosystem.

Through collaborative projects, research activities, prototypes, methodologies, and open resources, Constellation Lab contributes to strengthening Catalonia’s innovation ecosystem while creating new opportunities for collective experimentation, learning, and impact.
