IMMENSIVA is an international platform created by Lemongrass/Espronceda for artists and creatives working with advanced technologies such as VR, AR, AI and sensors. Its 2026 edition — Collective Cartographies — is the programme’s seventh, turning tangible and intangible heritage into shared, multiuser experiences.

Launched in 2019 as the world’s first residency for artists working with advanced technologies, IMMENSIVA combines location-based XR multiuser technology with artificial intelligence and collaborative storytelling. This edition interprets heritage through collective immersive experiences: six interdisciplinary teams collaborate from April to November 2026, creating location-based projects at Espronceda in Barcelona.
