LeShagh: Women – Live – Freedom – and Beyond
ESPRONCEDA Institute of Art & Culture presents Women – Live – Freedom – and Beyond, a solo exhibition by Iranian artist LeShagh. The exhibition will be open to the public from April 4th to 6th, with the opening taking place on April 3rd at 7:30 PM.

Women – Live – Freedom – and Beyond is a visual tribute to the resilience and fight for freedom of women around the world. Inspired by global movements where women courageously demand their rights and equality, LeShagh offers an introspective journey where art becomes a tool for empowerment and reflection.

Drawing from her personal and cultural experience, the artist shares a powerful message:
Self-care + Self-love = Freedom

This formula serves as the starting point for a visual narrative that invites viewers to turn inward and reconnect with the essence of emotional freedom.

“The journey begins within you—only.” — LeShagh

ABOUT THE ARTIST

LeShagh was born in Ahwaz, Iran, and currently lives in Barcelona. She has lived in several cities around the world including Tehran, Islamabad, Berlin, and Silicon Valley. This global diversity has shaped her artistic vision, allowing her to blend elements of her Persian heritage with contemporary international influences.

Through painting, she seeks to capture meaningful moments, deep emotions, and personal stories—creating works that invite contemplation and cultural dialogue.

This project is also part of ESPRONCEDA´s NEB (NEW EUROPEAN BAUHAUS) inititative.
