Stored for a While – Solo Exhibition by Filip Wierzbicki-Nowak

• Redefinition documents the transformation of a childhood landscape, where construction became a symbol of the transition from past to modernity. By photographing these changes throughout the year, the artist sought to preserve fragments of this place from oblivion.
  
  
• Connections is a series of paintings on raw canvas functioning as an extended diary of travels through Poland, Belgium, Portugal, Iceland, Germany, and beyond. Each work reflects encounters with cultures, beliefs, and people.
  
  
• Sol is a video work that reflects on lost carefree times and the everyday rituals that shape our lives.
  
  
• Site-specific spiral installation in sand evokes the cyclical nature of life, the movement of the sun, and harmony with nature. Inspired by Slavic and Catalan traditions as well as Gaudí and Miró, the spiral connects nature, art, and cosmic energy.
  
  
• Memory Map visualizes time and events, where island-like shapes and numbers correspond to the days of its creation.
  
  
• Borderland features imprints of natural elements that open new areas of memory and imagination.
  
  
• Liquid Transfer transforms programming code into abstract visual forms resembling a digital landscape. By blurring the line between reality and the virtual, the work highlights the complexity of technology in our daily lives. It is accompanied by a QR code.
  
  
• Prognosis is a series of works that address visions of the near future in the context of pressing social, political, and ecological challenges.

   

Collectively, these works invite the viewer to reflect on memory, technology, nature, and cultural transformation, bridging personal experience with universal concerns.
