Programa NEB & Inclusió

The NEB & Inclusió programme, part of Espronceda’s artistic residencies, champions tolerance, respect for cultural diversity, creative collaboration, inclusion and democracy. Through art and creativity it builds synergies among local, national and international communities and advances the Sustainable Development Goals, positioning art and culture as essential tools for dismantling barriers and cultivating an inclusive, innovative society.

Activities (2024)

• Voices of Community residency (May 2024) — artists from communities speaking minority languages (Aranese, Seto, Cornish, Burgenland Croatian, Aromanian), with the collective piece “Woodpeckers”.
• IMMENSIVA London–Barcelona (June–July 2024) — an immersive residency with the Royal Academy of Arts using VR and AR.
• Inclusión e Ilusión workshops (June–July 2024) — intergenerational activities with children, elders and families from the Navas neighbourhood.
• Arte y Adelante (September 2024) — support for artists with limited resources through digital training and networking.
• Hackathon Metaverso Navas (December 2024) — immersive-technology training and collaborative projects with local high-school students.
