Siyu Liu is an architect and artist, investigates intercultural relations through traditional Iberian basketry techniques (pleita). Recently selected by Visions of Catalonia 2025. Siyu Liu was born in the southwestern part of China, Guizhou province, a typical aboriginal and hilly area located to the east of the Himalayas. Compared with the traditional Chinese Confucian education, her hometown gave her a vivid, natural, and wild background.
