Carolin Liebl and Nikolas Schmid-Pfähler is a duo of artists collaborating since 2012. Their works are often sculptural, partly kinetic or robotic, also installations or performance. They deal with the effects of technical developments on the aesthetic and social aspects of human and non-human life. The medium – technology – is therefore both the bearer of social conventions and the aesthetic and pictorial material. The duo graduated with distinction from the University of Art and Design Offenbach.
