Manuel Canelles works internationally as a director, theatre coach and visual artist moving among different expressive codes by using mainly video, installation and performance. His artistic research focuses on relational practice with the main aim being to redefine the scenic language by connecting it to the contemporary art dimension. Through this theatrical matrix – dominant of every artistic action – Manuel problematizes the boundary between representation and reality by trying to investigate the temporary condition of the memory and the precariousness of the existing.
